เพิ่มชดเชยประกันพรบ.
บริษัทประกันเล็งเพิ่มความคุ้มครอง ประกันพ.ร.บ. 1.5-2 แสนบาท แต่ไม่ขึ้นเบี้ย นาย นอกจากนี้ ยังเพิ่มเงินชดเชยในกรณีที่ได้รับอุบัติเหตุและเข้ารักษาตัวที่โรงพยาบาลอีกวันละ 200 บาท มีระยะเวลาสูงสุด 20 วัน ส่วนเรื่องค่ารักษาพยาบาลที่กำหนดสูงสุดที่ 5 หมื่นบาทยังคงไว้ให้เหมือนเดิม โดยคณะกรรมการคุ้มครองผู้ประสบภัยจากรถจะประชุมในวันที่ 12 พ.ค.นี้ แต่จะมีการนำข้อเสนอเพิ่มความคุ้มครองเข้าสู่ที่ประชุมด้วยหรือไม่นั้น ยังไม่ทราบ นายสมพร กล่าวว่า การพิจารณาเงื่อนไขความคุ้มครองใหม่นั้น เป็นไปตามนโยบายที่เห็นร่วมกันระหว่างคปภ.กับทางสมาคมประกันวินาศภัย ว่าจะมีการทบทวนเงื่อนไขการรับประกันภัยตามพ.ร.บ. หรือการประกันคุ้มครองผู้ประสบภัยจากรถ ทุก 3 ปี เพื่อให้เกิดผลประโยชน์สูงสุดต่อผู้เอาประกัน
ทั้งนี้ ในเบื้องต้นได้ข้อ สรุปตรงกันว่าในส่วนของเบี้ยประกันพ.ร.บ. ทั้งในส่วนของรถยนต์และรถจักรยานยนต์นั้นจะไม่มีการปรับขึ้น เพราะเห็นว่าอัตราเบี้ยในปัจจุบันถือว่าเหมาะสม นายสมพร กล่าวว่า ความคุ้มครองที่เสนอให้ปรับเพิ่มขึ้นนั้น พิจารณาจากอัตราความเสียหายต่อเบี้ยประกันพ.ร.บ.ทั้งระบบ ที่ปัจจุบันอยู่ประมาณ 48-50% ถือว่าทำให้ยังมีช่องที่จะเพิ่มได้ “ค่าสินไหมที่กำลังพิจารณาปรับเพิ่มขึ้น จะทำให้อัตราความเสียหายต่อเบี้ยประกันเพิ่มขึ้นจาก 48-50% เป็น 60% ทันที แต่ถือว่าเป็นระดับที่รับได้”
