สายใต้ใหม่ปรับสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกให้คนพิการ นายวุฒิชาติ กัลยาณมิตร รักษาการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท ขนส่ง จำกัด (บขส.) เปิดเผยความคืบหน้าการเปิดใช้สถานีขนส่งสายใต้ใหม่ (ฉิมพลี) บริเวณถนนพุทธมณฑลสาย ๑ ว่า หลังจากนี้อีก ๖๐ วัน คือ ราว ๆ เดือน ก.ย.นี้ จะเปิดใช้สถานีขนส่งสายใต้ใหม่ได้ เนื่องจากอยู่ระหว่างการปรับแบบรายละเอียดเล็ก ๆ น้อย ๆ ของสถานีอีก ๑๔ รายการ ส่วนใหญ่เป็นการปรับรายละเอียดในเรื่องการอำนวยความสะดวกให้แก่ผู้พิการ เช่น การทำทางลาดเลื่อน ลิฟต์โดยสาร เป็นต้น ซึ่งได้ขอเสนอการปรับแบบไปแล้ว อีกทั้งตามกฎหมายการเปิดสถานีขนส่งใหม่จะต้องรอประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษาก่อน โดยหลังจากเปิดใช้สถานีขนส่ง สายใต้ใหม่แล้ว จะมีเวลาในการทดลองเดินรถและประเมินผลเพื่อปรับปรุงแก้ไขการให้บริการอีก ๓ เดือน ก่อนถึงเทศกาลปีใหม่ที่จะมีการใช้บริการหนาแน่น สมาคมคนพิการทางการเคลื่อนไหวสากล พันตรีศิริชัย ทรัพย์ศิริ

รายงานเพิ่มเติม.................สายใต้ใหม่ ที่ฉิมพลี ตลิ่งชัน.................. จากการเดินทางที่แออัดประกอบกับการที่ประชาชนไม่ได้รับความสะดวก โดยเฉพาะในเรื่องของที่จอดรถ จุดนั่งพักผู้โดยสาร และสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกอื่นๆ ประกอบกับการเจราจรภายนอกสถานีขนส่งสายใต้เดิม ที่คับคั่งไปด้วยรถโดยสารจำนวนมาก ที่ต้องรอเข้าคิวรับผู้โดยสารบริเวณภายในสถานีขนส่งสายใต้ ส่งผลให้การเจราจรบริเวณรอบสถานีต้องติดขัดเป็นเวลานาน ซึ่งรัฐบาลได้เล็งเห็นถึงความเดือนร้อนของประชาชน จึงได้มีแนวความคิดที่จะมีการสร้างสถานีขนส่งสายใต้แห่งใหม่ แทนบริเวณที่เดิมซึ่งทางรัฐบาลได้ตัดสินใจใช้บริเวณพื้นที่ริมถนนปิ่นเกล้า-นครชัยศรี เขตตลิ่งชัน กทม. ซึ่งห่างจากสถานีเดิมประมาณ 6กิโลเมตร ล่าสุดความคืบหน้าการก่อสร้างสถานีขนส่งสายใต้แห่งใหม่ โดย ปริทัศน์ เกียรติบำเพ็ญ ผู้จัดการฝ่ายพัฒนาธุรกิจ บริษัท สิริโปรเจ็ค คอนสตรัคชั่น จำกัด ผู้ดำเนินการก่อสร้างโครงการสถานีขนส่งสายใต้ กล่าวว่า สถานีขนส่งสายใต้แห่งใหม่จะเน้นความทันสมัย ที่มีคอนเซ็ปเป็นสถานีแห่งความทันสมัยและความครบครัน เพื่อให้รองรับกลุ่มลูกค้าที่มีทั้งนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติและคนไทยที่เดินทาง คนทำงาน และผู้ที่อาศัยอยู่บริเวณในย่านปิ่นเกล้า พุทธมณฑลเป็นหลัก ซึ่งสถานีขนส่งสายใต้แห่งใหม่จะสามารถรองรับผู้โดยสารได้ถึง 100,000 คนต่อวัน หรือ 15,000 เที่ยวต่อวัน สำหรับโครงการดังกล่าวประกอบด้วย 2 อาคาร คืออาคารชานชาลา มีรถโดยสารจากบริษัทเดินรถต่างๆ มากกว่า1,500 เที่ยวหมุนเวียนคอยให้บริการการเดินทางไปยังภาคใต้ และอาคารผู้โดยสารหรือเอสซี พลาซ่า สูง 4 ชั้น ประกอบไปด้วยชั้น Ground เป็นห้องโถลงขนาดใหญ่รองรับผู้โดยสารที่เดินทางมายังสถานีขนส่งสายใต้ มีสินค้าให้บริการแก่ผู้เดินทางอาธิ ธนาคาร ร้านหนังสือ ฟาสต์ฟู้ด เป็นต้น ชั้น M เป็นลานจอดรถที่สามารถรองรับรถจอดได้ประมาณ 500 คัน ชั้น 1 และชั้น 2 จะเป็นช่องจำหน่ายตั๋วกว่า 100 ช่อง ที่เน้นความทันสมัยและอำนวยความสะดวกให้กับผู้โดยสาร นอกจากนี้มีการแบ่งเป็นโซนต่างๆ ที่ประกอบไปด้วย โซน SC Mobile Streetจำหน่ายและให้บริการเกี่ยวกับโทรศัพท์มือถือ , SC Fashion Street จำหน่ายสินค้าแฟชั่นเสื้อผ้า เครื่องประดับ กิ๊ฟท์ช้อป , SC IT In Trend จำหน่ายอุปกรณ์คอมพิวเตอร์ ซอฟท์แวร์ เอ็มพี3 และซ่อมคอมพิวเตอร์ และนอกจากนี้ยังมี SC Food Town และ Food Court ไว้คอยให้บริการอีกด้วย โดยมีขนาดประมาณ10,000 ตารางเมตร ซึ่งปัจจุบันเปิดจองแล้วเรียบร้อยแล้ว โดยเป็นสัญญาการเช่าปีต่อปี นอกจากนี้มีลิฟท์ บันไดเลื่อน เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกสบายให้กับผู้โดยสารในการเดินทางติดต่อไปยังอาคารต่างๆ ขณะนี้ความคืบหน้าในการก่อสร้างโครงการสถานีขนส่งสายใต้แห่งใหม่ดำเนินการ ซึ่งโครงการดังกล่าวใช้งบประมาณกว่า 2,200 ล้านบาท โดยแบ่งเป็นงบการก่อสร้างและวางแผนระบบการก่อสร้างประมาณ 450-500 ล้านบาท ส่วนที่เหลือเป็นงบประมาณในส่วนของที่ดิน ซึ่งมีเนื้อที่กว่า 70 ไร่ แบ่งเป็นอาคารสถานีขนส่งผู้โดยสารและชานชาลา 37 ไร่ อีก 10 ไร่จะเป็นสถานีบริการน้ำมัน และก๊าซธรรมชาติ (NGV) ตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง ซึ่งบริหารโดย บริษัท ปตท.จำกัด (มหาชน) ภายใต้ชื่อว่า PTT Park โดยเนื้อที่เหลือประมาณ 23 ไร่จะสร้างเป็นอาคารไทยเดินรถในส่วนของออฟฟิต และเป็นสถานที่จอดรถ ขสมก. อย่างไรก็ตามโครงการสถานีขนส่งสายใต้เน้นความทันสมัยด้วยระบบสาธารณูปและเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัย ด้วยระบบตารางการเดินทางของรถทุกสาย ซึ่งทุกเที่ยวจะแสดงผ่านหน้าจอทีวีพลาสม่าขนาดใหญ่ จำนวน 50 จอ และระบบเครือบรอดแบรนด์ที่สามารถสื่อสารผ่านอินเตอร์เน็ตได้ง่ายขึ้น และในอนาคตมีแผนจะเปิดจำหน่ายตั๋วทางออนไลน์เช่นกัน สมาคมคนพิการทางการเคลื่อนไหวสากล พันตรีศิริชัย ทรัพย์ศิริ
