การแข่งขันกีฬาคนพิการแห่งชาติ ณ จังหวัดตรัง.
กีฬาคนพิการแห่งชาติเริ่ม..... ๒๔-๒๘ ต.ค.52 นี้ การเป็นเจ้าภาพกีฬาแห่งชาติ ครั้งที่ ๓๘ หรือ “ตรังเกมส์” ปิดฉากไปแล้ว พร้อมกันกับความสำเร็จของเจ้าภาพจังหวัดตรัง ที่สามารถสร้างงานในฐานะเจ้าบ้านได้อย่างอบอุ่นและประทับใจผู้ไปเยือนจากทั่วประเทศ แต่ยังไม่จบครับ สำหรับการจัดการแข่งขันกีฬาระดับชาติของชาวตรัง เนื่องจากกติกาการรับงานกีฬาแห่งชาติแล้ว จังหวัดนั้นจะต้อง จัดการแข่งขันกีฬาคนพิการแห่งชาติด้วย และในระหว่างวันที่ ๒๔-๒๘ ต.ค. ที่จะถึงนี้ “การแข่งขันกีฬาแห่งชาติ” และเปลี่ยนชื่อจาก “การแข่งขันกีฬาคนพิการแห่งประเทศไทย” มาเป็น “การแข่งขันกีฬาคนพิการแห่งชาติ” เพื่อเป็นมาตรฐานเดียวกับการแข่งขันกีฬาแห่งชาติ โดยการแข่งขันกีฬาคนพิการแห่งชาติครั้งนี้ จะได้แบ่งประเภทความพิการที่จะแข่งขัน ๖ กลุ่มดังนี้ ๑.กลุ่มพิการทางแขน-ขา ๒.กลุ่มพิการทางตา ๓.กลุ่มพิการทางสมอง ๔.กลุ่มพิการทางไขสันหลัง และโปลิโอ ๕.กลุ่มพิการทางหู และ ๖.กลุ่มพิการทางปัญญา โดยจะมีการแข่งขันทั้งหมด ๑๗ ชนิดกีฬา ประกอบด้วย กรีฑา, โกลบอล, เซปักตะกร้อ, เทเบิลเทนนิส, บอคเซีย, แบดมินตัน, ฟุตบอล, ยกน้ำหนัก, ยิงธนู, ยูโด, วอลเลย์นั่งและยืน, ว่ายน้ำ, วีลแชร์เทนนิส, วีลแชร์บาสเกตบอล, วีลแชร์ฟันดาบ และยิงปืน มียอดนักกีฬาเข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน ทั้งหมด ๒,๗๖๘ คน จากการแถลงข่าว นายเฉลิมชัย บุญรักษ์ รองผู้ว่าการการกีฬาแห่งประเทศไทย (กกท.) ฝ่ายกีฬาเป็นเลิศและวิทยาศาสตร์การกีฬา เป็นประธานในการประชุมพร้อมทั้งตัวแทนเจ้าภาพคือ นายสุรพล วิชัยดิษฐ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดตรัง ขณะนี้ทางจังหวัดตรังมีความพร้อมเต็ม ๑๐๐ เปอร์เซ็นต์ ทั้งในเรื่องสนามการแข่งขัน ที่มีทั้งหมด ๑๗ แห่ง อยู่ในอำเภอเมืองของจังหวัดตรังทั้งหมด มีที่พักนักกีฬาไว้รองรับนักกีฬาคนพิการไว้ทั้งหมด ๔ แห่ง โดยได้ทำการติดตั้งทางลาด, ราวจับ และห้องน้ำสำหรับคนพิการเพิ่มเติม รวมทั้งความพร้อมในด้านอื่น ๆ ด้วย อาทิ ด้านที่พักนักกีฬา, ด้านอาสาสมัคร ที่จะช่วยดูแลนักกีฬาคนพิการเป็นพิเศษ, ด้านการ รักษาความปลอดภัยและการจราจร, ด้านการคมนาคมขนส่ง และด้านสาธารณสุข ซึ่ง เตรียมความพร้อมไว้ทั้งหมดแล้ว นายสุรพล ตัวแทนชาวตรัง ได้ยืนยันในที่ประชุมเพิ่มว่า การแข่งขันครั้งนี้ จังหวัด ตรังมีความตั้งใจจะจัดการแข่งขันให้ได้มาตรฐานที่สุด โดยได้รับความร่วมมือจากทุกภาคส่วนของจังหวัดร่วมกันจัดการแข่งขันฯ ครั้งนี้ ซึ่ง พิธีเปิดการแข่งขัน ในวันที่ ๒๔ ต.ค. จะมีขึ้นที่สนามกีฬากลางจังหวัดตรัง ตั้งแต่เวลา ๑๖.๓๐ น. เป็นต้นไป โดยเชิญนายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ นายกรัฐมนตรีเป็นประธาน ส่วนผลจับสลากแบ่งสายฟุตบอลพิการทางหู สายที่ ๑ ได้แก่ ตรัง กรุงเทพมหานคร สุโขทัย ปราจีนบุรี ปัตตานี สายที่ ๒ ได้แก่ สงขลา ชลบุรี นครราชสีมา นครสวรรค์ และในการแข่งขันครั้งนี้จะมีกีฬาฟุตบอล ๕ คน ชนิดพิการทางตา เป็นกีฬาสาธิต นี่คือรายละเอียดคร่าว ๆ จากงาน “ศรีตรังเกมส์” ซึ่งกำลังจะเริ่มต้นขึ้นที่จังหวัดตรังในวันที่ ๒๔ ต.ค.นี้ และก็ขอเชิญชวนประชาชนชาวตรังและจังหวัดใกล้เคียง รวมทั้งนักท่องเที่ยวไปช่วยกันเป็นกำลังใจให้กับทัพนักกีฬาคนพิการจากทั่วประเทศ ที่จะชิงชัยกันในศึกครั้งนี้...        นอกจากนั้น ยังมีการแข่งขันทั้งหมด 17 ชนิดกีฬา ประกอบด้วย กรีฑา, โกลบอล, เซปักตะกร้อ, เทเบิลเทนนิส, บอคเซีย, แบดมินตัน, เปตอง, ฟุตบอล, ยกน้ำหนัก, ยิงธนู, ยูโด, วอลเลย์นั่งและยืน, ว่ายน้ำ, วีลแชร์เทนนิส, วีลแชร์บาสเกตบอล, วีลแชร์ฟันดาบ และยิงปืน โดยมีนักกีฬาเข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน ทั้งหมด 2,768 คน และใช้สนามการแข่งขัน ทั้งหมด 17 แห่ง ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่จะอยู่อำเภอเมืองตรัง เพื่อความสะดวกในด้านต่างๆ

       สำหรับ 8 ชนิดกีฬาที่ทำการแข่งขันในวันแรกนั้น ประกอบด้วย กรีฑา, โกลบอล, บอคเซีย, แบดมินตัน, เปตอง, ฟุตบอล, ยิงปืน และวอลเลย์บอล ที่น่าสนใจคือ ฟุตบอลพิการทางหู ทีมชาย รอบแรก มีการแข่งขันทั้งหมด 4 คู่ โดย 2 คู่แรก แข่งขันที่สถาบันการพลศึกษา วิทยาเขตตรัง นครสวรรค์ ชนะ ชลบุรี 5-3, นครราชสีมา ชนะ สงขลา 5-2 ส่วน 2 คู่หลัง แข่งขันที่สนามเทศบาลนครตรัง 2 ทุ่งแจ้ง ปราจีนบุรี ชนะ ตรัง เจ้าภาพ 7-1 ทำให้เจ้าภาพตกรอบแรกไปเป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว, กรุงเทพฯ ชนะ ปัตตานี 13-0

       โกลบอล รอบแรก มีการแข่งขันทั้งหมด 4 คู่ ณ โรงเรียนจุฬาภรณราชวิทยาลัยตรัง ผลปรากฎว่า ทีมชาย B1 นนทบุรี ชนะ ลพบุรี 12-2, เชียงใหม่ ชนะ ชลบุรี 11-1, ทีมหญิง B1 ตรัง ชนะ ชลบุรี 18-10, เชียงใหม่ ชนะ ชลบุรี 18-14

       สำหรับการแข่งขันในวันแรก คือ วันที่ 24 ตุลาคมนั้น มีการชิงชัยทั้งหมด 15 เหรียญทอง เป็น กรีฑา 15 เหรียญทอง และบอคเซีย 1 เหรียญทอง โดยอันดับที่ 1 ชลบุรี ได้ 2 เหรียญทอง 2 เหรียญเงิน โดยเหรียญทองได้จากกรีฑา 100 ม. หญิง วีลแชร์ T54 และพุ่งแหลน ชาย พิการทางตา F12-F13 อันดับที่ 2 ระยอง ได้ 2 เหรียญทอง จากกรีฑา ขว้างจักร หญิง ยืนแข่งขัน F46 และทุ่มน้ำหนัก หญิง ยืนแข่งขัน F46
